Raised and trained in martial arts at the secluded peaks of Dragon's Cliff, Kael sets out for Ironwood Hold carrying a mysterious dragon-inscribed relic to uncover the secret of his ancestry. Upon arriving, he intervenes to rescue Evelyn, the noble duke's daughter, from a vicious ambush orchestrated by ruthless assassins. Impressed by his bravery, the ducal household retains him as Evelyn's personal protector. Channeling his dormant draconic bloodline, Kael shields Evelyn from courtly conspiracies and repels power-hungry conspirators determined to seize the duchy by force.
