Lucien, the divine heir of the Sun God, willingly relinquishes his celestial throne and godlike authority to build a humble mortal existence with the woman he loves. Six years later, his romantic dream has disintegrated into sorrow. Working as an unassuming village blacksmith, Lucien raises his young daughter in poverty while his ambitious wife abandons the home to chase aristocratic status. When their child falls critically ill, his callous spouse chooses her wealthy paramour over her daughter's survival, resulting in the child's tragic death. Stripped of his family and consumed by grief, Lucien awakens his celestial fire to exact divine retribution.
